How live wedding illustration works:
I take a quick photo of your guests, and they can head back to the dance floor and enjoy the party! As the reception gets underway, I begin to paint guest portraits, capturing their individual personalities and expressions. I typically work quickly, using bold brushstrokes and vibrant colors to create lively and expressive paintings.
Each illustration is created under 7 minutes on a high quality watercolor paper that you can gift to your guests as party favors. Watercolor guest portraits are completed in a sketch-style at speed and will have a fun and whimsical look. All of the completed portraits are wrapped in a protective cello sleeve and can be picked up at our table at the end of the night.

The concept of Live Painting at events is to paint a scene on canvas as the event takes place. I can paint any scene from your wedding, this could be a ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, first dance or other scene.
I arrive with a blank canvas, and paint the party room and decorations in detail before your guests arrive. As the party unfolds, the painting comes to life. Not only will you have a finished painting at the end of the evening, but I also serve as entertainment to the guests.
Guests are welcome to watch the piece come together over the course of the day which creates a fun and unique source of entertainment.
