Meet Elena Fay
Hi, I’m Elena Fay is a Maryland-based live wedding painter, event artist, and product designer serving couples and brands throughout Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, and the greater East Coast.
When I sketched at my very first event in 2013, I instantly fell in love with the magic of live art and guest interaction. What began as a passion quickly grew into a career I feel incredibly grateful for. Today, I specialize in live wedding painting, luxury brand activations, fashion illustration, and on-site event art, creating elegant, memorable experiences for weddings, galas, premieres, and corporate events.
Over the years, I’ve had the honor of collaborating with iconic luxury brands including Porsche, Cartier, Chanel, Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo, Four Seasons, J.Crew, Bloomingdale’s, and Neiman Marcus, along with many other brands and private clients.
My work has appeared on Real Housewives of Potomac and has been featured in Style Me Pretty, Washingtonian, DC Magazine, and Baltimore Weddings.
Whether I’m live painting at a wedding, illustrating guests at a gala, or creating art for a luxury brand event, my goal is always the same: to create joyful, elevated artwork that becomes part of the story long after the event ends.
The East Coast is my playground, with most weekends spent painting live at weddings and events across Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, New York, and New Jersey. I also travel throughout the country for destination weddings and luxury brand activations.
Services
As a live wedding painter and event artist, I paint at weddings, corporate events, luxury brand activations, and private parties, capturing the energy and magic of each moment in real time. Whether I’m creating watercolor guest portraits, live fashion sketches, or painting a romantic wedding scene, my goal is always the same: to create artwork that preserves memories, evokes emotion, and sparks joy.
In addition to live event painting, I offer a full range of custom illustration services, including bespoke menu and invitation artwork, portrait commissions, murals, packaging design, stationery, and branded illustrations for weddings and luxury events.
Art Licensing
When I’m not preparing for a wedding or event sketching, I can be found in my home studio, working on designs for my licensing partners. Seeing my illustrations come to life on products brings me immense joy—you can find my work on kitchen towels, fabrics, puzzles, and hopefully many more in the near future:) I have the coolest job in the world!
Outside of painting and designing, I spend my days chasing little moments of inspiration, whether in my garden, planning our next family adventure, or playing with new art supplies. And, of course, I’m always trying to keep up with my super energetic boys and our fur baby- golden retriever, Marvel!
