How it works:
- I’ll have a table set up at your event with all my art supplies.
- Guests can come to the table and pose for a quick photo.
- I’ll turn those photos into fun and colorful watercolor portraits that guests can pick up at the end of the event.
- And be prepared—your guests will flood you with messages about how much they adore their sketches! It might just be declared the best party favor ever!
I take a quick photo of your guests, and they can head back to the dance floor and enjoy the party! As the reception gets underway, I begin to paint guest portraits, capturing their individual personalities and expressions. I typically work quickly, using bold brushstrokes and vibrant colors to create lively and expressive paintings.
Each illustration is created under 5-6 minutes on watercolor paper that you can gift to your guests as party favors. Watercolor guest portraits are completed in a sketch-style at speed and will have a fun and whimsical look. All of the completed portraits are placed in a protective cello sleeve and can be picked up at our table at the end of the night. You can choose to customize the paper with your wedding date and names.

The concept of Live Painting at events is to paint a scene on canvas as the event takes place. I can paint any scene from your wedding, this could be a ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, first dance or other scene.
I arrive with a blank canvas, and start painting the background before your guests arrive. As the party unfolds, the painting comes to life. Not only will you have a finished painting at the end of the evening, but I also serve as entertainment to the guests.
Guests are welcome to watch the piece come together over the course of the day which creates a fun and unique source of entertainment.
Whether you choose your first kiss, walking down the aisle hand-in-hand, or your first dance, I will capture the magic of the moment.
